Active Movie

Active Movie is a multimedia streaming technology developed by Microsoft. It supports most of the multimedia formats. Active Movie enables users to view multimedia content available on Internet, Intranet or CD-ROM. Apple Computer's Quicktime is main competition of Active Movie.
