ODP (Open Directory Project)

ODP is the largest human edited web directory available. You can submit your website to ODP at dmoz.org. The Volunteer Editors review the website and add it to the proper category. You can also volunteer to become an editor. Getting a listing in ODP is very important because it is used by many search engines and other website. Google also gives a lot of weight to its listings.
